My Ten Most Used Mobile Apps

I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. And I love it. It is nice and big and the S-pen is fabulous. I have way too many apps on my phone but there I mostly use around 20.  I would like to share with you the 10 apps I use most and why.

1. Google Chrome

That is no surprise I’m sure. I truly believe Google is the best search engine available. Also, I am one of those people who, if someone says “how old is Johnny Depp?”, I have to look it up immediately. What did we ever do before?

2. Gmail and Google Calendar

I figured that I would group these together. My inbox is absolutely crazy and I really need to organize it.  As far as Google Calendar goes, I would be lost without it. It is very user-friendly and I love how I can add other members of my family to an event and have it show up in their calendar.

3. Amazon Shopping

As much as I hate to admit it, I am on Amazon way too much. I don’t go out to stores much and so most of my shopping online. I wish I lived in one of their grocery delivery areas. Then again, I may never leave the house if that happens.  I use Amazon Smile, where you can pick a charity where Amazon will donate a small percentage of your purchase dollars. I chose St. Jude’s Children Hospital, it makes me feel a little better when I get spendy.

4. Pinterest

Ah, the most entertaining time-sucker out there. You innocently open it up to look for a chicken recipe you saved.  Three hours later, you have saved 10 pins about makeup for hooded eyes, 15 hairstyles you love, and 5 diy pallet projects you will never make. By then you realize that you never looked up the recipe or started dinner. So you order a pizza and keep browsing!

5. Audible

Yes, another Amazon company. I like books, but I have vision problems so wasn’t reading much. Then I tried Audible and was hooked. It is also great for when you are doing other projects or even just want to drift off to sleep. It requires a monthly fee, but it is well worth it for me.

6. Adobe Photoshop Express

I have the whole Adobe Creative Suite on my desktop. but when I need to quickly edit a mobile photo, this app really does the trick.

7. Canva

Canva is a very useful app for making collages, pamphlets, social media graphics, and so much more. I will admit it is much more user-friendly on desktop, but sometimes when I want to make a quick graphic, I do it on my phone.

8. Poshmark

Yep, another shopping app. But you can get some very nice used clothing and accessories at great prices. No bidding required. I keep saying I’m going to sell my barely used items, but I have exactly 1 thing up -a pair of RayBan sunglasses.

9. Design Home

This game is so much fun if you love interior decorating.  They have challenges where you decorate a room and your design gets rated by others. One disadvantage is if you don’t have the discipline to only enter 1 or 2 challenges a day, you will likely have to pay to buy furnishings, etc. Guess which group I am in?

10. Color Puzzle

This is a fun, relaxing game. It has you arrange colors from one hue to another. I feel it helps me understand color better and the end palettes are rather pleasant to look at.

So there are my 10 most used apps, but I have a lot more favorites that I will have to share with you another time. What are your favorite apps? Please comment below. I would love to hear from you!
